If the error message is correct it could mean your running a pirated version of Photoshop CS5.
It isn't. We purchased it several years ago and just cleared everything off my computer and started again. I installed the programs - already had the serial number for Photoshop and Bridge. Got the serial number sent to me to reinstall Lightroom.
I do not use Lightroom. There are several version of Lightroom you failed to state which version of Lightroom you have. It is quite possible that version of Lightroom you have installed uses a different version of Adobe RAW Conversion engine then your Photoshop CS5.
The latest version of ACR for CS6 is ACR version 6.7.
Adobe Lightroom does not have ACR support it has its own develop module user interface over Adobe RAW conversion engine. So ACR does not get installed into Lighrroom and the Adobe Raw Conversion engine that Photoshop CS5 ACR 6.7 interfaces with may be a different version then the One the your Lighroom Develop module interfaces with.
It is not clear to me what you doing and seeing.

I have Lightroom 3, and my CS5 and Lightroom 3 had both worked properly until we cleaned my computer and reinstalled both programs.
How did you reinstall the version of CS5? from the disk or via a download. I suggest uninstalling ( the reg might now be affected though ) and reinstall using your disk and serial number on the box if that applies to your case.
Did you check for typos in the serial number?
From the disk with the serial number. It appeared to download correctly but just won't update now. I'm also having trouble installing Camera Raw for both Nikon D7000 and Nikon D3s.
I'm using Windows 7 and have plenty of RAM. The statement I received was:
I just received notice that I need to update Photoshop CS5, Camera Raw 5.6, Lightroom and Bridge, but when I went to do it I was told there was an error "this serial number is not a qualifying product".
Photoshop 5, Bridge and Lightroom seemed to work fine until I tried to upgrade Camera Raw. They seemed to work at first and then when I received the update info. is when I had the problem.
Have you installed all the CS5 and Lightroom updates again the the latest ACR version for CS5 is ACR 6.7 There are also other CS5 updates and optional plug-ins
