Building a microsite, which CC programs for best results?

      Hi,

I have built a microsite within Edge Animate, that when exported as html files, zipped and hosted on an internal portal, seems to work very well.

However, there is some functionality that I am missing, I want to ensure that the site adapts to a phone and ipad screen (is there code on Creation Complete that I can add for this in EDGE Animate?), and I also want to be able to record user interaction metrics and offer the user feedback forms that can be received by the microsite creator.

I am beginning to have a look around MUSE and REFLOW but wish to know best practise to be able to create a responsive website - is it a combination of all the above programs?

Please fill me in as I am unsure as to which program is best utilised for which purpose?

      Thanks,

      James

Yes, it is, and you might wanna throw in that little tool known as Brain 2.0. Software can only take you so far and contrary to what those half-baked WYSIWYG tools will have you believe, a firm knowledge of HTML and CSS is a mandatory prerequisite to create SEO-friendly, adaptable and successful web content. That and of course forms and measuring user interaction will require a suitable backend based on dynamic systems like PHP. Business Catalyst is a start, but depending on your requirements, you may need a lot more. Anyway, a "microsite" indicates integration into a bigger existing site, so you will have to talk to the people running it for the actual requirements.
