Adobe = trashy software vampire?

I'd like to have Flash, but the downloader requires two Google installs. I've read the horror stories of others who, like me, don't want these files.

What in god's name is Adobe thinking, acting like some trashy software vampire? And how do I get a reaction from them?

Hello,

Flash Player installation does not require you to install the two Google offers.  There are check-box on the page to deselect the offers.  Many ad-blockers hide these check-boxes.  If you're not seeing them, and have ad-blocker software enabled, please temporary disable the ad-blocker software so the check-boxes display.
