SVG graphic appears pixelated

Hi there,

I placed text into an circle. In Edge preview all appears perfectly. But when I uploade the oam file, the line spacing and the font size has changed. Therefore it wont fit into the circle.

To fix this, I converted in illustrator the text into vector graphic and placed it in Edge. With Edge preview all appear perfectly. But when I upload the oam the text in the inner circle is pixelated. It is kind of strang because the text in the outer circle (eg. Major surgical complications) is also a pasted vector graphic. In Google Chrome everything look quite good but in Safari looks like it is pixelated.

What can I do to solve the issue?

Hi MPellot,

Can you please confirm the Edge Animate version?
We have addressed this SVG Pixilation issue in the latest Edge Animate CC 2014 build available now on Creative Cloud.

Hi Devandra,
thank you for your quick respond. I use the latest version of Edge Animate CC. I already saw the post SVG Images Blurred but this will not solve the issue. Is there another workaround?

Hi MPellot, ClintRuddle,

As Mr. Devendra said we had SVG Pixelation issue, which has been addressed out in the latest version of Edge Animate.
But before it was addressed, we had done a workaround to solve the svg pixelation issue. And as the issue has been properly addressed now, we no longer need the earlier workaround. So, you have to manually remove the workaround in the updated Edge Animate composition.

So, here are the steps to resolve your issues: (Use the latest Edge Animate version)
1. In "Position and Size" subsection of the property panel, note down somewhere, the values of "X", "Y", "W" & "H" of an svg file used on stage.
2. In "Transform" subsection of the property panel, change the CSS Transform ScaleX and ScaleY from 10% to 100%.
3. The above change will change the values for "X", "Y", "W" & "H". So, you have to set their values as you have noted down in the first step.
4. Repeat the first 3 steps for every svg file used on stage.
