1. Re: How can I include a success message in a drag and drop interaction - I don't see this option in the Actions on success options, and cannot figure it out?
Lilybiri Sep 9, 2014 10:57 AM (in response to akaskens)Create a Success message (image, text container, audio, whatever you want), and set it hidden in the Properties panel. Then add the action On Success 'Show....'. If you want to show more than one object, group them and you'll not need an advanced action.

akaskens Sep 9, 2014 11:33 AM (in response to Lilybiri)Thanks so much for your response!! I've tried it, but (by creating a button, right clicking on it, then selecting Hide, then selecting SHOW that button on success of the drag and drop. What I'd like is for the user to see "Correct. Click here to continue". - but having such trouble.

Lilybiri Sep 9, 2014 11:51 AM (in response to akaskens)It was a screenshot from CP8. I created a shape with a text in it, that was hidden. And I labeled that shape 'SuccessBalloon'.

akaskens Sep 9, 2014 11:56 AM (in response to Lilybiri)oh - heehee - yeah so I did something similar, and I do hide it, but then when I preview it in my browser, it it's not actually hidden. But perhaps, its not hidden in the browser preview, but I have to publish it and then it may be hidden?. thanks

Lilybiri Sep 10, 2014 1:16 AM (in response to akaskens)I suspected you used the eye icon on the timeline to hide the message, but that one has no impact whatsoever on the published version. It is only meant to be used for editing reasons on the stage, to hide objects temporarily on a crowded stage. It is confusing, certainly in CP8 where for both instances the same eye icon is used. In previous versions the Properties panel had a checkbox for 'Show in Output', which was IMO much clearer than this eye icon. But of course, that is only my personal opinion.
