    AVCHD Export Setting CS4

      Hi!

I'm hoping someone out there has an idea to fix our current problem.

We record a sermon every week for our ministry and post it online streaming. When we switched cameras, our file sizes created a problem with our server, and playback was choppy if it works at all. We went from Standard Def to HD. Basically, our server guy told us it needs to be much, much smaller. We are struggling to find the balance between quality and exported file size.

      The footage properties:

      Type: XDCAM-EX Movie

      File Size: 1.5 GB

      Image Size: 1440 x 1080

      Pixel Depth: 32

      Frame Rate: 29.97

Source Audio Format: 48000 Hz - compressed - Stereo

Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 32 bit floating point - Stereo

      Total Duration: 00;44;24;05

Average Data Rate: 584 KB / second

      Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.3333

      Sequence:

      1920 x 1080

      00;49;03;28, 29.97 fps

      48000 Hz - Stereo

Our video is roughly 40 minutes long. We still haven't successfully produced an exported video that is less than about 4680 MB. Our server guy is telling us no more than 200 MB or people's computers wont be able to view it properly.

I've messed with the bit rate quite a lot and gotten the file size down, but the quality is absolutely terrible. Can anyone think of a different solution?

      Thanks!
