I have a Mac OS X 10.5.8 , and cannot install flash player. It keeps saying flash player quit unexpectedly. please help.

Every time I try to install flash player , it says it quit unexpectedly. I have followed all instructions more than once, even uninstalling , and try to re-install. Always the same result. This is very, very frustrating. Can someone out there in Adobe please help?? I run Mac OS X version 10.5.8

Unfortunately, you need a minimum of an Intel-based Mac running MacOS 10.6 at this point:
