.mov file giving me a "The file you have specified in incorrect or invalid.  Ensure that you specify a valid file."

I am a new user to Captivate 8 (used 7 for the last 6 months or so), and am trying to use my first video in a module.  The interface makes it look pretty easy:  when i use the "media" icon at the top, or whether I go to Video>insert video, I get  a very simple pop up "insert video" dialogue box.  Whether I use "Event Video" or "Multi-Slide-Synchronized Video" I get the same error.  I'm just browsing to the movie that's on my desktop, and I get the error I show above.

I don't see any other options, and I can't find much documentation to read about these options (although I doubt it would help).  I assume the problem must be the video files, but they are shot straight from my phone and sent to my desktop.  Standard .mov files.  Capt8 says it supports .mov, so I'm lost.  Any thoughts?

      thanks,

      Carl
