Thanks kglad! I'll try that tomorrow...should do the trick. I'm not too familiar with how the ! operator works but i'll read up on it.
I tried that but I'm still running into some problems. First off, I switched the true/false in my mouseOnSceen() function so that now
I put trace statements on my main timeline to make sure my playhead was jumping and playing to the correct frames. I moved the "expand" label back to frame one, and then about 15 frames later there is a stop action. The next frame has the close label, and then later another stop action.
The playhead is expanding the ad, and playing to the first stop action, but when I move the mouse off the screen, the playhead jumps back to frame one....the playhead never reaches the "close" or the stop action after the mouse leaves the screen. I can post an .fla tomorrow.
