If Edge Code doesn't recognize the file extension, it will not know what type the file is, and you won't get any syntax coloring. The status bar in the lower-right corner should say what file format Edge Code thinks the file is -- does it say Text, or something else like CSS or HTML?

i follow the tutorial for add brackets , but mi last line before insert code lines to enable is not the same..
i tried to add after and before this , my last line , and no works...
" linting.enabled_by_default":false },
this is my las line..
i don´t know where must add the four code lines that shows tutorial .
