1. Re: Custom Navigation Buttons Don't Show on LMS (Cp 8)
mark20044 Sep 11, 2014 10:58 AM (in response to PYerden)Very strange. Is this a responsive project? Perhaps the LMS sets the window size and the responsive project is moving the buttons outside the slide area.
If it's SWF output, I can't imagine why this would happen. Go back to the project and preview it in browser (F12). Check that "Visible in output" is turned on for each button (the little eye next to the name in the properties tab) and that the buttons are timed correctly on the timeline.
That's all I can think of right now. Best of luck!

PYerden Sep 15, 2014 9:35 AM (in response to mark20044)Thank you Mark,
I am doing a Resposive Project. However, it is published for devices = forced HTML output. I have previewed this project in Adobe Edge Inspect as well as regular preview (browser preview). The buttons will not work, and they all are visible. Seeing the buttons is not an issue in preview. They simply do not work. I'm not sure what to do going forward.

3. Re: Custom Navigation Buttons Don't Show on LMS (Cp 8)
mark20044 Sep 15, 2014 9:56 AM (in response to PYerden)Hmmm, what an odd bug. I've never run in to a case where the published output was different from the previewed output.
Have you altered any of the files in your Captivate directory? It might be a problem with your LMS template files, though it's strangely specific of it to just be changing the z-order or visibility of the buttons. That would make sense, though, since publishing for an LMS uses a different set of files from preview or publishing without LMS support.
You might try publishing from a different computer, or reinstalling Captivate.

PYerden Sep 16, 2014 6:40 AM (in response to RodWard)The project runs flawlessly when I publish then run the index file. However, when I zip the files for the LMS, it doesn't work. What difference would this make?

RodWard Sep 16, 2014 7:01 AM (in response to PYerden)Have you tried uploading the same project to SCORM Cloud LMS? Perhaps the issue is with your LMS, not the Captivate content.

PYerden Sep 16, 2014 7:48 AM (in response to RodWard)If the problem was with the LMS why wouldn't the project work right in Preview or Preview in Adobe Edge Inspect?

RodWard Sep 16, 2014 7:55 AM (in response to PYerden)I don't know. But over the years I have learned never to eliminate possible explanations until I try them. Your call..
