Hello,
Maybe this has been addressed before but I couldn't find it. This is a crazy situation.
I'm running a newly installed 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) update on a 2008 MacBook using CS3 that formerly was running 10.5.8. Working in my Acrobat version (8.1.6), now when I manually drag a navigation pane thumbnail page (or string of them in a single action) from a source pdf into the destination’s navigation pane it works fine for that one time. Then after that no matter what I try to drag from the source nav pane to destination nav pane, it always shows up as whatever that first dragged file(s) was. Doesn't matter if I go to a completely different set of files to work on either. Still copies whatever file(s) I moved from that very first transaction. Crazy or what? Only a complete close out and complete restart of my computer will it allow a one time successful drag from one PDF nave pane to the other. The the problem starts all over again. I should add that using drop down menu key commands allows everything to work fine. This clone-glitch thing seems to occur with clicking and dragging via a mouse.
Short of doing a clean install of my OS, or reinstalling CS3, I've tried everything I could think of (which aint much)…zapped PRAM, tons of restarts. Went through all my preference setting. I’m clueless.
Does this problem sound familiar? Any suggestions on how to remedy this?
Thanks in advance.
