Local Installation of Acrobat XI Pro Won't Activate: Keeps Prompting for Renewal of Creative Cloud Subscription

      Hello,

I was chatting with an Adobe support rep yesterday about this problem, but was given the following answer:

"Please click the above link, it will guide you to the forums. Please post the question, our experts will come online and will resolve the issue."

      So here I am.

Yesterday, I purchased, downloaded and installed Acrobat Pro XI for Windows. It was the upgrade version, and I have the serial number for my previous version (version 9) to enter when prompted.

The problem is, I'm never prompted. Every time I launch Acrobat Pro, a window pops up instructing me to renew my CC subscription. I don't want to renew my subscription--I let it lapse months ago because I wasn't using the products enough to make it worthwhile. I can't get beyond this window in the activation process.

I would like to be able to use the local installation of Acrobat now that I've paid for it. This shouldn't require me to renew my CC subscription, should it?

Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks.

      Steven N.
