1. Re: Local Installation of Acrobat XI Pro Won't Activate: Keeps Prompting for Renewal of Creative Cloud Subscription
Karan Malik Sep 19, 2014 6:14 AM (in response to NancysBrother)Hi Steven,
I tried reproducing this scenario in Adobe. Good news - there is a way for you to input the serial number. Try the following steps:
- Launch Acrobat. You will get Renew your Subscriptions dialog. (where you are stuck at the moment)
- In this dialog you will find a link - "Have a different Adobe ID?". Click on it. (Don't worry you can use your same ID and don't have to create one)
- Now you will get Sign in screen. Sign in with the same ID on which you had your CC subscription expired.
- After signing in you will see Acrobat XI trial screen. Here you will have a button - "License This Software". Click this button.
- Now you will get option to input your serial number.
Let me know if this works for you.
Thanks,
Karan

2. Re: Local Installation of Acrobat XI Pro Won't Activate: Keeps Prompting for Renewal of Creative Cloud Subscription
NancysBrother Sep 19, 2014 6:08 PM (in response to Karan Malik)Hello,
Thanks for your reply. After a very extensive chat with two Adobe tech support personnel this morning, one of them finally solved the problem by asking me to delete the contents of the SLCache folder on my computer. So unfortunately I won't be able to test your solution. It would have been a far better one than all the hoops I was made to jump through in order to solve the problem. Thanks again.
