2. Re: This extension cannot be installed because licensing verification failed
paulja2014cc Sep 18, 2014 12:31 PM (in response to shuo_yang)Any extension from Adobe that I downloaded and tried to install via the Extension Manager application would fail with this error. I was able to install downloaded non-Adobe extensions just fine.
Interestingly, I could install extensions into my CC account via the Adobe website: https://creative.adobe.com/addons
I checked and re-checked and I am using the same credentials for the Extension Manager application and the Adobe website.

shuo_yang Sep 22, 2014 12:53 AM (in response to paulja2014cc)Would you please try follow steps:
1. Quit Adobe Creative Cloud , Extension Manager and all Adobe products.
2. Rename opm.db to opm.db.bak in
Windows: c:\Users\<yourname>\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
MAC: /Users/<yourname>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
3. Launch Extension Manager CC.
4. Install your extensions.
Please let me know if it does not help.

JJjustice Sep 25, 2014 8:38 PM (in response to shuo_yang)Point number 2 is confusing to me. I don't know where to find ppm.db so I don't know how to Rename that. I also can't find the /Users/<yourname>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE.
Please help me out. Thanks

6. Re: This extension cannot be installed because licensing verification failed
jcharriez Sep 26, 2014 10:20 AM (in response to shuo_yang)Sorry to bring this issue once again, but I've tried your method of renaming the database file twice, to no avail. It keeps telling me licensing cannot be verified. The extensions were downloaded from Adobe Exchange and they are DMXzone Font Awesome, DMXzone Bootstrap and JSP Support. I hope that's all the information you need. Please let me know. Thanks...
