          A handful of features from previous versions are not available in Photoshop Elements 13 due to new product support for 64-bit systems. They include:

          • Photo Mail
          • Photomerge Style Match
          • Magic Extractor tool
          • Texture Fill
          • Frame from video
          • Interactive layout mode in Photomerge Panorama
          • Photoshop Showcase

            Yes, but most of those weren't in PSE 12, either, like Magic Extractor and Frame from Video.

             

            Also missing are the old slide show editor (new slideshow, both platforms, more basic) and TWAIN for 64-bit windows (still available for macs and 32-bit windows).

              New features: 64 bit windows, high res display support, no more having to hassle around with adobe mail verification codes–you can use any email provider now. Content-aware fill, new crop tool, more effects and frames in Quick Edit, a new Refine Selection brush for tweaking selections, Photomerge Compose to help move stuff from one photo to another, a totally new slideshow (good and bad–now there’s feature parity on both OS X and Windows, it’s easier than the old slideshow, but much less customizable), a new Create project for building a facebook cover photo, a new view in the Organizer, a revision of the albums/folders tab from PSE 12 that puts each section into its own tab, some changes to the tag panel, some new guided edits, and Elements Live, which is kind of like Postano for PSE–a new tab in both the editor and the organizer  that aggregates tutorials and inspirational stuff for PSE from all over the web, not just Adobe.

               

              You need at least win 7 or OS 10.8 for PSE 13.

                Not many “must have” new features apart from mash-ups – Photomerge - Compositor. Probably no great rush to upgrade if you already have PSE12 as most major improvements seem to be under the hood, unless you are:

                 

                A Windows user - wanting a 64 bit app.

                 

                A 64 bit PSE12 Mac user - wanting support for retina display or the slideshow.

                 

                Still no 16 bit support so it’s $99.99 (upgrade $79.99) vs $9.99pm for full photoshop+Lightroom.

                  Just upgraded my PSE 11 to 12 two days ago - and now I find out PSE 13 just got released :-(

                  How do I get in touch wit someone at Adobe to see if I can get an upgrade to v13?

                  No viable option to talk to anyone from adobe.com/getsupport

                      I have tried to find a link Adobe Sales or a phone number related to Photoshop Elements. None seems to be available.

                      Can you provide a contact number, e-mail address that I can use. This seems to be the only place Adobe Element Questions of any kind can be entered.

                        Go to www.adobe.com and click Downloads at the very bottom of the page and you'll see Try and Buy links to PSE13:

                        Download a free trial or buy Adobe products | Adobe downloads

                         

                        Alternatively, if you click on Products athe bottom of the page you'll see just a Buy link next to PSE13.

                        I'd recommend using the Trial version first to make sure everything works on your computer.

                            Only problem - not sure if the method works?

                             

                            You link opens to an Adobe page about Free upgrades.

                            When I click on the "North America" Link I get the following message:

                             

                            413 

                            Header Length too Large
