1. Re: native preset for .mts
A.Kubba Sep 23, 2014 6:38 AM (in response to dee1nepistle)Hi,
For an mts file you can right click on the file and create a new sequence from clip.
The preview file format that it would pick up would AVC intra. There are chances it would give yellow lines.
Thank You

dee1nepistle Sep 23, 2014 6:47 AM (in response to A.Kubba)That's exactly what I DO NOT want.
I don't want to see the yellow line.
If I am in the native environment, I don't need a bar.

A.Kubba Sep 23, 2014 6:52 AM (in response to dee1nepistle)Premiere pro's interpretation of footage can not be determined, you can play around with the sequence settings and check if you can get the desired result.
Thank You

imagelinevideo Sep 23, 2014 7:08 AM (in response to dee1nepistle)It's a pity but it won't work.
The only thing you can do is translate your file to a native file. you can do this with clip wrap.
I also have the nx5 camera with the same problem.

shooternz Sep 23, 2014 4:48 PM (in response to imagelinevideo)Why is the yellow bar "a problem"?
Does it not play?

7. Re: native preset for .mts
dee1nepistle Sep 24, 2014 4:19 AM (in response to shooternz)Its not a problem until its time to export to tape.
Sometimes I want to export directly to tape but have to go through rendering for reel time playback.
If the clip has a native sequence, I'm certain there would be no bar and therefore no need to render before playback.
