How to highlight text in DE 3.0 ?

    jpsweetie

Hi folks - any idea how to highlight text in DE 3.0? I understand that it isn't designed as a document 'editor' but at least with a hardcopy I can highlight or write on it where I need to. Thanks J

You select the part you want to highlight with the mouse(cursor), then you can either press Ctrl+M or click on the button in the top part. You can also write a note on the highlight part.

Thats the bad part about DE, you can not apropriate edit your book. Thats terrible for study books, where different colors for highlight and underlines would be great. Hey Adobe team, remember that for the next versions.

thanks for your support (and understanding!) - unfortunately, the problem seems to be routed in the fact that I am not being allowed to 'select the part I want to highlight'. Left click achieves nothing and right click brings up a floating menu with all options shaded and unavailable except 'Bookmark page' ie the options to Highlight - Add note to page - Open pop up note - Copy - are inactive. How can I make these active? Thanks again.

I am having the same problem, even though the documentation say's it can be done.  I also have no table of contents.
