We have created a .ppc file by publishing our PowerPoint file with audio. Now it's a new semester, and we would like to edit some of the PowerPoint slides and associated audio to update the lesson's content. I cannot find any information on how to do that. Can it be done? If yes, how? Thanks for any help you can provide!

Save the PPT as a new file name so you have the original. This should make a Copy of the PPC file. Then go into the new PPT and make your changes to the slides and edit the audio on the slides you have changed. After you are finished making all your changes go ahead and republish the file.
