1. Re: Hello, I want to make DPS magazin for IOS and Android with a lot of text footnotes. There is about 200 footnotes per article. The idea is to make pop-up windows like in EPUB 3.0. Please help.
Neil Enns - Adobe Sep 28, 2014 12:43 PM (in response to Jasiu512)Before even getting to how to deal with the footnotes problem, are you a Creative Cloud customer? Or do you have a DPS Pro/Enterprise license?

Bart Van de Wiele Sep 29, 2014 1:29 AM (in response to Jasiu512)Remember you can only build an iPad app using your Single Edition solution (which is included in your CC membership). So you'd need a Pro or Enterprise version of DPS to be able to create the Android version.
You can create pop-ups in InDesign using the slideshow options and a multi-state object. But it's all manual labour so you'll spend a lot of time on this, also depending on the layout of your design.

The way You talking about is in my case impossible. Too much footnotes. But hey, it is only simple footnotes - Is there any way to make it automat?

Bart Van de Wiele Sep 29, 2014 2:37 AM (in response to Jasiu512)The only thing that's impossible in your current situation is Android. But iPad will work.
I don't see a direct way to automate this process as pop-ups.
