    OP1a MXF render error

    Tayedrummer Community Member

I'm having problem rendering out to OP1a MXF files though Adobe Media Encoder.  I use AME to batch transcode files, it doesn't matter what file type I load in, they all show this same error.  I'm using the XDCam 50 60i preset but all the output files are showing this black bar at the bottom.  The preview window of AME doesn't show this problem.  If I transcode to H264 it doesn't show the error.

      My system:

      SuperMicro Tower

      Win8 Pro

      Dual Xeon E5-2690 v2

      128Gb RAM

      Dual Titan Black driver 9.18.13.4411

      Red Rocket-X

      Any ideas?

Forgot to mention, this is Adobe CC, latest version.

            Hi Tayedrummer,

Please mention are you getting the same behavior while using Renderer on a software only mode and on VGA mode. If not, please follow the steps below to try.

For Software only mode go to Premiere Pro file menu>Project Settings>General and in Renderer drop down select Software only instead of CUDA and delete Previews.

For VGA mode: Go to Device Manager>Display Adapters and right click on the Graphics card to update Driver Software.

Choose "Browse my Computer for Driver Software" and on the next window Select "Let me pick from the list" option

Select Microsoft Basic Display Driver or WDDM drivers. Change the screen resolution if necessary.

Please try these steps and update.

            Regards,

            Vinay

Called Adobe Support and it sounds like this is a known issue with the Titan GPU's.  I'll try on another system running the older Quadro 4000 card.
