Hi,

I have created Table of Contents in RH 6 and generated the WebHelp. But when I open the help files via an application's help button in IE11, somehow the TOC is not displayed on the left pane. However, when I use Mozilla FF 32.0.3, the TOC is displayed without any problem. Can you advise how can I solve the issue in IE11?

Thanks.

Even Rh9, 10 and 11 have had to be patched because of IE issues. Probably Rh11 is your only answer if IE support is a must.

It’s a long-shot but won’t hurt to try it – see if you can add the location of your help to IE’s list of Trusted Sites (Tools > Internet Options > Security tab > Trusted sites > Sites button)

Jeff,

I managed to solve the issue. It is a setting issue in IE. In IE, go to  Tools > Compatibility View Settings > select the Display intranet sites in Compatibility View. By enabling the option, I can now see the table of contents in the left pane of the online help file.

But this is only a solution for a single browser installation. All other readers will have the same issue. If you want to support IE11, the only real fix is to upgrade RH.

Kind regards,

Willam
