change size of sidebar textboxes after installing mavericks

I installed osx mavericks and now the textboxes in my sidebar are very large. They are about 10 lines in height. In addition the arrows are very large and pixelated in appearance. Before I could stack 30 or 40 bookmarks in the sidebar (or form fields- if that was what I was doing.) Now I can fit maybe two or three. I can change the size of the text (small/ medium/ large) but I can't find where to change the size or spacing of the text box. I'm actually not sure which it is... text box size or text spacing within the text box. I suspect it is the latter. All of this started after installing mavericks. I'm using acrobat 9.5.5. Just out of curiousity, I installed reader XI and the bookmarks stacked up normally.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I am having the same issue with 9.5.5. I think that large gray wedge in the upper left corner is the view/hide triangle. I rely heavily on the bookmarks. Is anyone having this issue with 11?

Having the same issue here running 9 pro. I've looked through bookmark settings, adobe preferences, accessibility under system preferences and haven't come up with anything. Looking forward to a solution!!

I am having the same issue. Running Acrobat 9.5.5, the PDF was created from InDesign 5.5. Everyone who is also seeing this issue, what program created the PDF files?

same thing here, after upgrading to Mavericks the bookmarks of any pdf-file are useless in this way. Either I have to use Preview since in the latest version Preview supports the bookmarks in a pdf-file or another third party pdf reader.
I have also tried Reader XI and Reader Pro XI but they didn't allow me to configure the symbollist to my needs (my main focus is on reading and navigation - not on forms). Therefore I am fine with Reader 9.5.5 all the commands I need can be configured to fit well on a MacBook Pro 13".
And I think there are many useres out there having similar needs .. and hardware.

Also having problems with this issue. We produce reports that are sent as pdfs to our clients and bookmarks are an essential tool to accessing them. Preview is not a solution!!

Does anyone know if Acrobat X (Pro) works properly in 10.9 Mavericks? I am thinking of upgrading the whole suite from CS5 to CS6, but it doesn't make sense if I will still have issues with Acrobat.

Not sure about X, but I ended up upgrading to Acrobat XI Pro, and that fixed the problem.

I just had the following conversation with Adobe, seems it is fixed in XI and is not supported before that.

Count me in either. I have the same problem with Acrobat Pro 8 on Mavericks. The adobe support is obviously no help. I give up and chose the upgrade. Unfortunately the oldest version for upgrade is Acrobat 9, so I will have to spend about 400 EUR to get my proper bookmarks back. This is ridiculous.
