Discounted pricing for some products in a catalog

Apologies if this has been answered, I did search but couldn't find an answer.

Is there a way to create a discount code that is associated to only one specific product in a catalog ?

And / or is there a way to apply a standing discount percentage to a specific existing customer ?

Basically I'm looking for a way to provide a subset of customers with ongoing discounted pricing on some items in a catalog

Hi Doug,

The discount code works at the catalog level.

You can create discount codes and set them to be applied on certain catalogs: http://prntscr.com/4tq355

Yes, you can apply a discount percentage to a specific existing customer. For that you need to go to CRM > Customers > Subscriptions and under Catalog Discount put in the discount that should be applied to the user for the particular catalog:
http://prntscr.com/4tq417

This percentage will be applied to the catalog not to a specific product.

If you want to give discount to a particular product then you can create a seperate catalog and add the product to it and apply discount code/ catalog discount on the catalog.
