Yesterday I installed the update to Premiere Pro 2014.1. Immediately after updating, I opened a project that I'd been working on in version 2014. The project contains media from a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera recorded in Apple ProRes, a Canon 6D, and a clip from Digital Juice in QT codec. All of the Blackmagic ProRes clips are offline now, as well as the Digital Juice clip.
If I try to relink these clips to their respective media files, I get "Error Message - The importer reported a generic error".
If I try to 'Replace Footage' with these clips to their respective media files, I get "Error Message - The importer reported a generic error".
If I simply try to import one of the files into the project, I get "Error Message - The importer reported a generic error".
There are other ProRes clips from the same camera that have not previously been imported into this project, and they will import into the project without error.
If I create a new project, all of the offline ProRes clips and the Digital Juice clip import without error.
The offline files play in QT and VLC.
I have tried creating a new project and importing the problem project into it but the same issue occurs.
I have tried opening all of this project's Auto-Saves and the same issue occurs. I have deleted preferences using Shift-Alt.
I have tried Chat with Adobe all morning but keep getting "Chat is unavailable at this time".
