Does Sony DCR-HC40E camcorder work with premiere elements 13?

I need to know whether or not premiere elements 13 will capture video from a Sony DCR-HC40E camcorder. Can anyone help me with this?

This camcorder requires a firewire connection. Adobe Premiere Elements 13 does not work with firewire.
