Open a panel/HTML5 window from a different panel

Is there a way to open a panel from a different panel?

That is the only way I have found to create an interactive UI.

I tried this way http://www.davidebarranca.com/2012/10/scriptui-window-in-photoshop-palette-vs-dialog/

But couldn't really make it work with editable text fields.

Do anyone got an idea how to make a dialogbox or open a panel from a different one?

Hello,

The blog post you're referring to is about scriptUI, which I don't think has anything to do with HTML5 extensions.
