Native Canon 1DC Motion JPEG footage plays choppy! (CAN ADOBE PLEASE ANSWER)

CAN SOMEONE FROM ADOBE PLEASE OFFER SOME ASSISTANCE!!!! AND NOT IGNORE THIS PLEASE!!!!

I have posted several times about this and no one has offered any assistance. why? I have called customer support and they have not offered a resolution. I have a Canon 1DC and it shoots 4K in Motion Jpeg codec. PPCC 2014.1 states it has native support for most file formats including motion Jpeg, but when I play my files it plays very choppy and I get a lot of dropped frames. Even when I play it at 1/2 resolution its still choppy. Im on a Late 2013 MacPro with the top graphics cards D700's and 32g's Ram so I know is not my computer, I even tested these files at my office which we have a top of the line maxed out 2013 MacPro and the files still play choppy every now and again.

I donrt understand if PPCC 2014.1 offers native support motion Jpeg files why doesn't it play as it supposed to? I shoot on RED as well and have worked on 6k r3d files and these even play smooth on my system, so why can't 4k Motion Jpeg files play smooth.

And one thing I don't get is, if I send my timeline to direct link to SpeedGrade and open it up, the timeline plays smooth with no issues. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? Can someone from ADOBE please take a moment to answer this and look into this. One of the great big features of PPCC 2014.1 is working natively with camera codecs, but if I can't work natively with my Motion Jpeg files and I have to transcode, my workflow is slowed and thats not helpful to me and others who use Canon 1DC Motion Jpeg files.

**If someone from adobe would just test this out themselves they would see,Motion Jpeg files don't pay smooth no matter how powerful the computer***

          Hi AzzieScott,

I do see that the native MJPEG files from the Canon 1DC are supported, but I do not see anything listed in our bug database about anyone else having issues with it. That said, many people having issues with 4K are trying to push too much data through the Thunderbolt connection. For example, they are working on 4K and have both a monitor and hard drives hooked up via the same Thunderbolt connection. Do you have devices connected via Thunderbolt?

          Thanks,

          Kevin
