eikonoklastes Oct 14, 2014 10:00 PM (in response to Sakura309)You might have source patching for audio disabled. Check the audio tracks in your timeline to make sure that it is enabled, or else your audio will not be put into the timeline.
The source patching is the 'V1' or 'A1' on the leftmost part of the tracks.

eikonoklastes Oct 15, 2014 1:55 AM (in response to Richard M Knight)Note: the source patching is to the left of what is indicated in that screenshot. You've pointed to the track targeting.
If source patching is turned on, audio will drop into the timeline even if all targets are disabled (it will drop into the track that is "patched").
In your screen grab, no source patching is displayed because it seems like you have nothing loaded in the Source Monitor.
