1. Re: Captivate 8, quiz, multiple choice, when adding more lines, the new lines are not aligned
Sreekanth_S Oct 19, 2014 7:40 PM (in response to gewe3375)Deselect Autosize Captions check box in Edit > Preferences > Defaults and check. This used to work in CP7.

nsukumar Oct 19, 2014 9:30 PM (in response to gewe3375)Hi there,
May I know your Captivate 8 version number? (To check version number, Help>About Adobe Captivate). Please try updating Captivate to the latest patch version(8.0.1.242) in case if your Captivate version is 8.0.0.145, and see it resolves the issue or not.
Thanks,
Nimmy Sukumaran.

shriyanshagnihotri Oct 19, 2014 11:50 PM (in response to gewe3375)Hi,
Is it specific to a theme or it is happening with all the themes. Also did you cleared the preferences and deleted the Layouts/Themes before starting Cp8.0.1.242
Let us know your comments.

4. Re: Captivate 8, quiz, multiple choice, when adding more lines, the new lines are not aligned
gewe3375 Oct 20, 2014 7:02 PM (in response to gewe3375)The version is CP8 - 8.0.1.242. After doing some research, it appears that the problem is when I open a CP5.5 and CP7 file in CP8. I remember I had this problem with CP7. I made a new file in CP8 and made a multiple choice slide, added 4 more answers, no problem. I am going to have to live with down level files. Just does not look professional. At some time, I will redo ALL of the quiz slides.
Thank you for your help

RodWard Oct 20, 2014 9:21 PM (in response to gewe3375)The only way I have found to fix this is to either totally rebuild the slide by inserting a new one and then copying over the text for each caption, or else adding enough more answer options to accommodate all of the needed answers and then copying the text from the older answer captions into the newer ones, then deleting the older ones. It's tedious but each slide only takes a couple of minutes to fix.
