Fireworks CS 6 skews images on import

When I import an image full-size, no problem, but when I put it on the page with the mouse drag to fit, the image is horizontally compressed - any ideas why?

Not sure how you are importing. Are you dragging before clicking to place? If so it works for me. Are you dragging after placed? If so you need to press the Shift key to constrain.

Hi Joyce,

It happens when dragging before clicking to place. The image is distorted wide. I do this all the time with no problem with my Fireworks CS4. Actually, the problem went away yesterday, but it came back today!
