I downloaded the Microsoft Net 4.0, and then Adobe Digital Editions, but when I try to open ADE it is giving me an error message. Did I do something wrong?

Hello,

I downloaded the Microsoft Net, and then Adobe Digital Editions, however, I am getting an error message when I try to open ADE. Did I do something wrong?
