    Mac Illustrator CC'14 Bugs. Color Picker & Character info

      Ever since updating 9 days ago I have the following very annoying problems

       

      Typography:

       

      When clicking on a type object, the stated character info is not updated.

      It will only display the information of the last type object laid down.

       

      Example

      Click type tool, set font to arial, 16pt

      Click canvas and enter type. exit type editing

      Change type spec to courier 30pt

      Click canvas and enter type. exit type editing

      With direct select tool click first type object.

       

      expected:  character information updates to reflect specifications of type object clicked (arial 16pt)

      actual: character information never changes, even when editing the contents of the text object. (still shows courier 30pt when selecting arial type object)

       

      At this point I have no way of knowing the family, face, spec of any type object in my project. 

       

      Color Picker:

      When double clicking the foreground color to open the color picker, the slidebar always displays solid pure read, rather than the hue corresponding to the position of the slider.

      No idea what to do at this point, makes illustrator frustrating to use at best.
