1. Re: trying to install adobe photoshop and asks for explorer 4 or newer
R_Kelly Oct 21, 2014 12:21 AM (in response to mandykp)Which operating system are you using?
Which version of photoshop elements?
(i'm guessing your trying to install photoshop elements 1 on a windows 7 or 8/8.1 operating system)
How much free space does your hard drive have?
Which operating system did you have that particular version of photoshop elements installed on before?
Do you still have access to that operating system?

nealeh Oct 21, 2014 4:06 AM (in response to mandykp)This happens on older versions when you're using IE 10 or 11. The installer only looks at the first digit of the IE version and thinks you're on IE 1. You can temporarily revert to IE9, install, then put your IE10 or 11 back on.
Cheers,

If you have over 1 TB of free space, then photoshop elements 1 won't work because it can't see free space over 1 TB and throws an Scratch Disk Full error if you try to use it.

Can you really do anything useful with version 1? I would have thought that online version of free software would do much more than version 1 of PSE!!!
Photo editor online / free image editing direct in your browser - Pixlr.com
Just a thought.
