smyszko Mar 23, 2014 11:52 AM (in response to Simonedesign)I keep hitting this too. I had no problem until a couple of days ago when I got error 62 during an update.
I unstalled everything but still get "We've encountered the following issues: Creative Cloud desktop failed to install. (Error code: 62)" when I run the latest CreativeCloudSet-Up.exe.
I'm running Windows 8 x64.

MHartUnited Oct 21, 2014 2:11 PM (in response to Simonedesign)I'm on MacOS X Yosimetie and trying to install the Creative Cloud desktop application. The first two attemptes the installer just finished around 50% installed. Then I repbooted and tried it again. This time it gave me the "error 62" so I searched and found this thread. After running the CC Cleaner I tried to install again but it just finished around 50% again.

around 50%. Trying again today after I did a disk permissions repair.

We got Creative Cloud installed! Maybe my solution can be yours as well. I just spent some time with Adobe Chat and Rahul removed into my Mac to remove these files (see pic below):
Also he deleted these "OOBE" folders (see pic below):
From what I saw he deleted everything in relation to the Adobe Applications Manager. After deleting all these files he ran the installer again and it worked. Hope this helps!
