embedding a Google map

This is more of a googling solution. You grab the embed code from google maps and you go into html view on your editor and paste the code. That really is it if you want the basics.

This also depends on what functionality you are hoping for to. Typically the simple embed gives you only the basic map. I use the API as it gives me tons of control.
