Best way to purchase Ps, Lr, Au, Ae, Pr...

      Hello Everyone,

      I have used Adobe products in my training courses, and am looking into using them for my hobby. I am looking at purchasing 5 Adobe CC apps (Pr, Ae, Au, Lr, Ps). These are the only 5 I am interested in at the moment. From what I can gather there are three ways I can purchase these 5 apps;

1 - Purchase all 5 on individual yearly plans at $20.00 per month. Which is a very expensive way to do it

2 - Purchase the photographers plan, (Lr, Ps) for $20 p/m, and the other three on individual plans totalling $80 p/m

3 - Purchase everything for $50 per month or $600 per year. I don t whant to purchase everything though, as i wont use much more than these above mentioned 5 apps.

I'm aware if I purchase everything, I dont have to download it, I just dont see the point in buying programs I'm not going to use. I'm looking to make an onging yearly plan if I can get these 5 apps at a decent price.

Is there a way of making a custom plan? What is your recomendations/thoughts?

      Regards

      Russ

You have listed all the available options for Cloud memberships. There are no other bundles available.

Basically, if you want 3 or more apps then a full Cloud membership at $50/month is your most cost effective option.

I suspect, like you, most Cloud members would spend most of their time in half a dozen apps at most. Everyone's half dozen is different.

When you say "purchase" you're aware that you're only renting the software? You don't purchase them. If you want to use them you pay your monthly membership. When you stop paying, the software stops working.

            Thanks John

yeah, I used 'purchase' to indicate obtaining a subscription/amount of time to use the software. Rent is a better way of describing it.

looks like thats my only option.

              The CC business model is:

              1 app for $20/mo

              2 apps for $40/mo

              All apps for $50/mo

For me, the Suite gave you 6-7 tooks for about $25/mo. To get those tools now, you'd have to pay 2x that, and then you're also given 3x the tools you want/need. I'm making do with what I have. Not going to give Adobe any more money; I'll just look into alternatives. Heck, we were going to buy a near $10k CF Enterprise license, but I'm just gonna move the project over to Railo at a net cost of $0.
