last stage I get a white box with adobe flash player installler on top

I go through all the stages, I download, I open it and it installs but at the end I get a white box that says adobe flash player installer on top.

I read to uninstall, then reinstall and that is what I did, Now I have no flash player at all. WHY WONT THE FINAL STEP HAPPEN, WHY THE WHITE BOX? Now I cant play anything!!! please help!

Hi, just an intuition. Perhaps it installed, and like Facebook, when you click Like, it turns to Unlike. You just leave it. The uninstall message just is giving you the option to uninstall it later. Try going through the process again, install and, then leave the uninstall message there.

Just a thought. I may be totally off base. Good luck!

I read online to uninstall and reinstall...So I uninstalled it, and it wont reinstall. When I go to my control panel, it is gone...and I work as a script writer and we share links to movies before they come out and I tried to watch a movie from a file and it said I don't have the plug in needed, which is the adobe flash player....thank you anyway...it is goneeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Hi,

Sometimes, letting go and letting a higher intelligence deal with it can

help! When I try to control the outcome, it doesn't work. When I let go,

the answers come. The universe can provide answers in unexpected ways.

We are both reaching out. Somebody out there will have the info we need.

I am going to call a tech or the Mac store to get some answers.

Hi,

I just called the Mac store and they said don't worry about a password,

just click enter or okay. I went to the Adobe site, downloaded a new

version, ignored the box and hit okay, and it installed. No prob. Miracle

after years of trying!

Now I am enjoying my Qi Gong videos! See what I mean about a higher

intelligence? it does work!

I hope everyone can get easier access to Adobe. I did email them that too!

I did reinstall Yay and it said done!!! I was so happy but as soon as I opened a window it said it stopped working then asked to close program!!!! I got the link from Pat on here.

I am back to square one...the program stops working.

In Firefox, if you go to Help > Restart with Add-Ons Disabled, does Flash Player magically start working?

I Tried, every thing I try, I still get a warning it is not working and to close program. Then close plug in...Thank you for trying to help. I looked and it says all my plug ins, including Adobe flash player is on.

Well on the last step where you hit finish , there was a adobe flash player installer on top of a clear or white box and it wouldn't finish the set up.

I wanted to explain Pat what happened, I didn't have time last night, I didn't get a laptop til I was 36 and I know so much more than I did now that I am 41 and I work with computer people, but I am in the hospital til probably November, so I tried to fix myself. The problem started when my mother wanted a coupon for pet food and I had to download smtn to get the coupon....BAD IDEA! So while I was trying to get that download off my tool bar my Google changed to yahoo , when I opened up Firefox. It took me about, two hours, yes two hours!!! to change it back to Google when I open Firefox. That is when I got the message that adobe Flash player 15.0 r0 has stopped working. now that you helped me reinstall adobe flash player and I looked on my tool bar at the ad on's and it says it is activated, but it still tells me it has stopped working and to stop plug in because a problem cant be found. I have to do that or just make the warning smaller or it will keep coming up!!
