Hi, I've had no problem going import file then selecting TIFF as sequence before. This time I'm importing 3800 TIFF as a sequence. I don't know whether it's failing to import for that reason. This is the window that pops up when it fails. I've noticed the number on the end changes depending on where I click on the TIFF in the sequence.
I'm probably doing something really dumb. But if anyone could please give me some advice, I'd be super grateful as I spent an insanely large amount of time rendering the Maya footage.
We know nothing about your image sequence or how it was generated nor anything about your system or version of AE.
What happens if you import as a single footage item and not a sequence? If that also fails, how did you generate the tiff? What is the color depth? Will it open in Photoshop? What is the naming and numbering convention you are using? There are lots of things that can go wrong with image sequences. The most common is an improper naming system, the second is improper color model, the third is probably non standard compression or file corruption.
