Why won't Edge Code download?

I uninstalled Edge Code from the Control Panel after having difficulties. When I went to try an reinstall it from the Creative Cloud tool, it told me that it was still downloaded, even though it is not. I've tried downloading it from the website too but it just redirects me to the Creative Cloud tool which won't let me download Edge Code again.

Can someone plz tell me how to re-download Edge Code?

I'm not sure how to solve that, but Edge Code is a re-branding of Brackets (http://brackets.io) so you could try using that instead. Note that Brackets is updated more often than Edge Code, so there are more features.
