AVG and flashplayer

My AVG will not allow me to download flashplayer - it reports that it is a corrupted executable file. The details given are "..........Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Low\Content.IE5\OWMATMO\install-flashplayer15x32ax-mssd-awe-aih[2].exe"

Try the offline installer(s)
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

If that also doesn't work, what is your AVG version?

It sounds like this is a false-positive in AVG. You'll need to talk to AVG support if they continue to block Flash Player's installation, or consider a different AV vendor.

Thanks for your comments. In the end I got my engineer to sort it out for me. Expensive but saved my sanity!
