M R K Development Pty Ltd Nov 3, 2014 12:00 AM (in response to cristinel@adobe)When do you see this one coming to the new API? id really like to get my hands on that without having to use the old SOAP API.

Liam Dilley Nov 3, 2014 1:32 AM (in response to M R K Development Pty Ltd)Yeah, it would be something a lot of people would want to do. The extended CRM is well underused and could become and even more powerful feature of BC with some enhancements.

cristinel@adobe Nov 3, 2014 2:16 AM (in response to M R K Development Pty Ltd)We'll be looking at them in the near future, but the honest answer is that we don't have a date for extended CRM fields for now. I can say for sure that it won't be there in the next month.

Liam Dilley Nov 3, 2014 4:02 AM (in response to cristinel@adobe)I am a bit wary of the half implementations everywhere. Really appreciate all the efforts across the board recently but It would be great to have assurances that things will be got to. It's been the minimum amount for a long time and more often then not in the past things then do not get seen to again, Open platform just another recent example. So just a bit conscious of that with things.

Shane.McG Nov 4, 2014 3:39 PM (in response to UPGR8R)We would like to vote for this as well. So many use cases for us, we want to really utilise this feature but can't without the API being developed.

7. Re: Does CRM API v3 support Extended CRM fields at this time?
Stephen_Blignault Nov 4, 2014 4:30 PM (in response to Shane.McG)I veto this development as well.
Extended CRM is so amazingly powerful and can be pushed and utilised even more, simply by allowing us more access to the data form fields. And in particular, being able to iterate through the fields dynamically so that our clients can edit the Extended CRM form themselves.
A use case scenario would be to be able to list all products per customer so that some logged in customers can have customised pricing per logged in CRM member. This way we can generate a Purchase Order enquiry with a breakdown of customised costs. This is incredibly powerful.
But until then, our clients have to keep calling us up so that we can add in the new Extended CRM fields each time they amend a field or create a new field.
What’s the point of having a CMS/CRM when each time you make an adjustment you have to call your web developers to apply your changes.
Please implement extended support for Custom CRM fields as soon as possible.

8. Re: Does CRM API v3 support Extended CRM fields at this time?
Daryl Barnes Nov 9, 2014 9:35 AM (in response to UPGR8R)I just wanted to add my support for this as well. The extended CRM fields feature is one of the most powerful things about BC and one of those things that makes it stand out compared to other options. So I hope better support for it is planned as a top priority.

Karim - dashbee.com Nov 9, 2014 2:14 PM (in response to UPGR8R)I agree as well. We've been using Extended CRM fields with clients and need to be able to utilize the API's to further enhance their experience.
