Simple file setup question. Please help.

I have a project that is flip pages on a stand. There will be 5x8 cards one on the left and one on the right. They will almost all bleed so it needs bleed space.

What I need to know is... is there a way to set this file up like facing pages but leave some space in between them to add bleed in? Like my mock up... is that possible or do I have to design as single pages. The two pages need to look good together so I would like to be able to see them together if possible...

See the white space is where I need the bleed if I could have them appear anywhere close to this that would be great... possible?

there's excellent script, does the job in 'old school' manner, fast and simple:

it's possible 'newer' method, with Page Tool involved:
turn off Allow Document Pages to Shuffle (in Pages palette)
turn off Facing Pages (in Document Setup)
your pages still stay in spreads (not facing)
select left page of your spread
select Page tool (shift+P)
in Control palette adjust X location (for each spread), i.e., move pages apart from each other to make room for inner bleeds

both methods have some (dis)advantages, though...
it's up to you to choose.
