can you please let us know what you mean by "cloud comes as expired".
Your adobe id is using a paid description so it would be interesting to know
where you can see that it is expired.
Is it in the browser?
Or is it in the Creative Cloud application, Lightroom, Lightroom mobile?

If you go to creative.adobe.com - are you logged in as the same user as you are trying to login with on the desktop?
If so try to log out that user.
Otherwise - if you log out and log in again on Lr Desktop - does it help?

I am using windows 8 and logged in with the account microsoft, browser use the same account that I use in adobe. -

Have you installed Lightroom 5 from Creative Cloud desktop or have downloaded the trial version directly from Adobe.com directly.
This issue might occur if you have signed in to Creative Cloud desktop with a different email address
If you have not installed Lightroom from Creative Cloud desktop.
Or if there is any connectivity issues.
If your Photoshop CC is activating and the issue is only with Lightroom 5, then I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall Lightroom from Creative Cloud desktop
If you are facing the issue with photoshop, then check make sure that the email adress is correct in creative cloud dekstop.
If it is correct try to reset your host file.
