1. Re: "Uh oh, this PSD was not successfully processed because it's not currently compatible with Extract."
elainefinnell Nov 3, 2014 11:30 AM (in response to JakeWesorick)Hi, Jake-
Do you see this happening when you share it, or does this happen when you're logged into your own account and are looking at the PSD within the assets section of your CC account?
Thanks,

JakeWesorick Nov 3, 2014 11:49 AM (in response to elainefinnell)Yes. It happens when I'm logged into my own account and am looking at the PSD in the Extract section. (Details Activity Extract)

MitchHendrickson Nov 3, 2014 1:11 PM (in response to JakeWesorick)Our favorite answer to "what would make it incompatible?" is "nothing" but the fact that you get that error means we're not at 100% :-).
It would be great if you could share your file for analysis. If you share the file and then either a) post the link here or b) PM it to me or Elaine (if it's something you don't want to share with the whole forum) we will take a look at it and see what we can find.
Thanks,
-Mitch

4. Re: "Uh oh, this PSD was not successfully processed because it's not currently compatible with Extract."
JakeWesorick Nov 5, 2014 10:10 AM (in response to MitchHendrickson)Sorry I can't send you the file, but we fixed the problem. We rasterized and flattened several background layers like the browser design and footer to reduce file size.

elainefinnell Nov 5, 2014 11:05 AM (in response to JakeWesorick)Great! Glad you got it to work. Can I ask what the original file size was, and how many layers were in the file?
Thanks,

6. Re: "Uh oh, this PSD was not successfully processed because it's not currently compatible with Extract."
JakeWesorick Nov 5, 2014 11:54 AM (in response to elainefinnell)141.102 Megabytes, but I'm not sure exactly how many layers it was. Around 100. Whatever was causing the problem also prevents it from displaying in Apple Preview. The not working one with non-rasterized bg was 1440 × 5316 pixels where the working one is 1440 × 1527 pixels. Might be something there.

7. Re: "Uh oh, this PSD was not successfully processed because it's not currently compatible with Extract."
MitchHendrickson Nov 5, 2014 7:51 PM (in response to JakeWesorick)Those numbers are not too ridiculous, so it's more likely that whatever was breaking Preview was breaking us. If you come up with any other files that fail that you *can* share, please don't hesitate. .
