1. Re: How can I get Gray background instead of White in Photoshop CC 2014 after rendering 3D ? I've seen this in many tutorials. Plz help me.
Peter Villevoye Nov 2, 2014 1:56 AM (in response to 1995deepshah)What do you mean by "background", the area where there's nothing to be seen in all layers, the area around your 3D object or plane ? Are you using ambient light or an environment ? Try including some (small) screenshots or samples of such tutorial images.

Peter Villevoye Nov 3, 2014 12:46 AM (in response to 1995deepshah)Well, judging from your screens, I can see there's a "Background" mesh in yours and there's at least a "Diffuse" map in the tutorial. Both can have very different material mappings and/or settings. Check them out in the Properties panel, by selecting the element in the 3D panel. The tutorial must be using a very subtle setting to reflect some of the illumination color of the AC logo. Or maybe it's a diffusion map, using a darker tone while 'faking' the yellow glow as well. Can't see it exactly from this screen.
Tweaking such settings is a very delicate matter, and especially when it comes to soft glows and reflections, the jargon of some properties can be confusing.
