    Separate drums from a song

      Hello everyone in this Forum, I'd like know if is it possible and how to separate instruments like a drum from a song in Adobe Audition. I'm a student and for my project I need an specific part of the song in this case the drum part.

          Very unlikely indeed that you'd be able to do that, I'm afraid. The only thing you can sometimes reduce somewhat is the vocal, and only then if it's mono and slightly isolated from everything else. Drums are generally spread across the stereo field and mixed in with everything else. At this point, it's a bit like unbaking a cake - you simply can't do it. Not an Audition limitation - no software can.
