1. Re: How to roll back from the last CC update?
CaliPVP Nov 7, 2014 11:27 AM (in response to CaliPVP)I've chatted with Support 3 times and they would tell me to try back tomorrow or they would just kill my text session. I also called Support and was told they can't help me and someone would call me back in an hour. It's been 2 days now and still no call back.

2. Re: How to roll back from the last CC update?
Stan Jones Nov 7, 2014 1:25 PM (in response to CaliPVP)I cannot find the blog post that provides some help. The best methods have changed a bit over time. Here is my current understanding:
To go from 8.x to 7.x, if you want the latest version of 7, the cloud desktop works well ( you can leave 8.x installed in most cases):
http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html#previous
I find the following link most helpful for full version control. when you install 7, it will automatically update to the latest version of 7. If you want to stop at 7.2 rather go to 7.3, you must interrupt the installer. I recently did some testing, and found the ProdesignTools links very easy for exactly that purpose.

3. Re: How to roll back from the last CC update?
ProDesignTools Nov 8, 2014 7:19 AM (in response to Stan Jones)Stan got it.
If you use the second link that he posted above, the guide and resources given there will allow you to restore or roll back to any previous CC 2014 version – or any previous CC 2013 version, or even CS6 – for any Adobe application in the Creative Cloud.

8. Re: How to roll back from the last CC update?
ProDesignTools Nov 10, 2014 6:04 AM (in response to CaliPVP)Well it sounds like you were getting weird things happening before rolling back as well, after you updated the program previously...
So the right thing to do normally is uninstall and reinstall the application(s) from scratch, usually using the Adobe Cleaner Tool and rebooting.
It sounds like there may have been a glitch or corruption in your particular system registry/configuration somewhere, which was hopefully fixed through the reinstall process.
