1. Re: i'm not sure if im in the right room to ask but, i got a new job and my w-4 is online threw the adobe acrobat reader ans is filled out but it wont connect to the browser to get it submitted. what is wrong?
Bill@VT Nov 8, 2014 7:05 PM (in response to wendy22-0909)I doubt that the W-4 has a submit button. If you are using Reader XI (actually the topic of the Reader forum, not this one), you should be able to save it and then print and deliver. If it is set to be submitted by the browser, then it may be your Reader and the browser are not talking properly. If there is a generic URL that you can provide that has the W-4, we might be able to give you more info. A lot depends on what your particular form looks like. Hand carrying it should always be an option.

wendy22-0909 Nov 8, 2014 8:04 PM (in response to wendy22-0909)it had a submit button and then a print button but i think the version was old. I went on ahead and downloaded the newer version but i don't think i can hand it in to this employer that's why they are having me do it online.

George Johnson Nov 9, 2014 11:25 AM (in response to wendy22-0909)Try opening the PDF directly in Reader instead of in the browser.

Bill@VT Nov 10, 2014 11:34 AM (in response to wendy22-0909)I had the impression you were opening it in Reader and not the browser, but George's comment is probably appropriate. If you can share the URL where the W-4 can be found, we can take a look at that also. You may prefer to PM the link or form (except I don't think you can attach in the PM) to me and George.
