How do I change my backgrounds in Photoshop 12 Elements

    tlking5414 Community Member

I am relatively new to the photo editing and I have been struggling to figure out how to change my pictures to have a solid color background or any type of different background.

      Thanks

          Try this:

          1. Work in Editor on the Expert tab
          2. Open your file.
          3. Set the foreground color chip to the color of choice for replacement of the background. Double click on the chip to get the color picker.
          4. Use one of the selection tools, e.g.selection brush, lasso tool, to select the foreground
          5. Press CTRL+I to inverse the selection
          6. Use the paint-bucket tool replace the background with color from step #3
